Day 1 (Thursday) Giverny
- Giverny: Arrival around noon - Lunch, for example at Museum of American Art and visit and time free up to 4.30pm - Visit of Claude Monet Foundation, Monet's house and garden - 7.30pm : dinner at “Restaurant de l'Hôtel Baudy” which is also a museum : many American painters stayed here in Monet's time. - Night at a local B&B
Day 2 (Friday) Hontfleur
- Departure from Giverny B&B at 9am for Hontfleur: Time free up to noon Walk around "Le Bassin" (the fishermen harbour, painted by all impressionists artists). Visit of the lovely typical church and shopping, or visit of the Erik Satie Houses (Surrealistic Music) Visit of the Eugène Boudin Museum (Monet's Master), also showing other renowned Impressionist painters - Night in a local typical hotel
Day 3 (Saturday) Omaha Beach
- Departure from Hontfleur at 9am for Arromanches: free visit of the WWII museum, DD movie Colleville-sur-Mer: free visit of the American Cemetery Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer: free visit of the Memorial Museum and the «Promenade du Souvenir» at "Pointe du Hoc" - Departure from Omaha Beaches around 5pm for Bayeux: Dinner and night at a local B&B or hotel
Day 4 (Sunday) Bayeux & Mont-Saint-Michel
Bayeux: Time free. Visit of the “Centre Guillaume-le-Conquérent” (Tapestries Museum) and the Gothic cathedral - Departure for Mont-Saint-Michel around 2pm Mont-Saint-Michel: Arrival around 4am. Visit of the Abbaye and "La Merveille" - Time free: walk through streets, shopping - Dinner: maybe you will test the famous "Omelette de la Mère Poulard" at the restaurant La table de la Mère Poulard

Day 5 (Monday) Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau
- Departure from Mont-Saint-Michel at 8.30am for Savennieres (or *Saint-Malo / Brittany) Savennieres: Wine degustation at the renowned vineyard "La Coulee de Serrans",a fabulous white wine: this exceptional vineyard was graded "one of the 5 best white wines in the world” by many critics including the Wine Spectator - Departure for Villandry and arrival around 4pm Villandry: Visit of Jardins à la Francaise (gardens) - Departure 6pm for Azay-le-Rideau Azay-le-Rideau: Time free, shopping & "Night Promenade" around the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau (illuminated) - Night at the local B&B or hotel
Day 6 (Tuesday) Blois, Chenonceaux
- Departure from B&B (or hotel) at 9am for Blois: Visit of the Chateau - Lunch at 1pm at the starred Michelin restaurant "L'Orangerie du Château" - Departure at 3pm for Chenonceaux Chenonceaux: 4pm: Cruise on "Le Cher river". We will sail under the arches of Chateau de Chenonceau - Night at a local hotel or B&B
Day 7 (Wednesday) Amboise (or **Chambord), Chartres
- Departure from the hotel or B&B 9am for Amboise: Time free up to 2pm Visit of the Chateau, "Le Clos Luce" which is a museum situated in the last residence of Leonardo da Vinci - Departure to Chartres around 3pm Chartres: Visit of the Gothic cathedral - Night at a local hotel
Day 8 (Thursday) Chartres:
- Time free: shopping Note : Chartres / Paris-Gare Montparnasse takes about 45mn by train
*Saint-Malo: Free Visit of the “Citédes Corsaires” (Pirates city) - Departure for Bourgueil at 11am, arrival at 1pm, and lunch - Degustation in a local winery of the renowned Bourgueil wine
